SYNOPSIS
Father Joan and “el Metralla”, a communist militant, spend most of the Civil War hidden in an attic in Barcelona, in Pepeta’s House. This faithful parishioner feeds them and protects them both. During all these years, they will only receive Aurora’s visit, an old partner of “el Metralla”, who will go into exile. Hatred, distrust and differences vanish as months go by, to the point where they would put their lives at risk for each other. The absurdity of war is portrayed in this human and honest comedy.
